West Boldon Residents Association held a meeting on Thursday 17th July 2008 at the Wheatsheaf Hotel, St. Nicholas Road, West Boldon. Agenda included ideas for future outdoor planting, fund raising ideas were discussed as well as the Christmas Festival plans.
Open Garden at Hamilton Terrace West Boldon was held on Sunday 6th July 12-5pm Teas, plants, cakes. Supporting St Benedicts Hospice. Despite the weather , the day was well supported by visitors.
West Boldon Residents Association recently held one of there regular meetings in Boldon Church of England Primary Schoolon 26th June. Guest Speaker : Tony Purcell, Greenscape Supervisor, outlined the Councils plans for Open Space planting in West Boldon for 2008 and the future.
