West Boldon in Bloom - Rectory Bank
The wall surrounding Rectory Green seems to be forever an area where the blown rubbish settles. From crisp packets to McDonalds bags its a constant battle. Regular community litter picks is beginning to show rewards.
Another issue was the overgrown ivy that was invading the grassed area. Here, Commie Baker , having carefully pruned the ivy fills the bags up which the council will collect for us to be re-cycled.
Narcissus is the Latin or botanical name for all daffodils.
