The Boldons History Society is gathering momentum. Having had only its 3rd Monthly meeting ( Last Tues of the month ) the group is growing in leaps and bounds. Housing development Hall Green Farm is now well under way. For those who are not familiar with the address its on the corner of Hylton Lane and Dipe Lane ( Harrys Farm).
Boldon Newtown website is now up and running. The address is http://www.boldonnewtown.co.uk/
Although still within the Boldon umbrella, there is a lot of extra activities and events going on which is specifically related to the Newtown regeneration area so making this website seemed appropriate.

Wrightway Car Parts, Rectory Terrace West Boldon are now seeing a dramatic increase in the sale of patio gas . Where many are closed on Sundays, Wrightway is open weekends.
No reason to take the car in West Boldon. The Red Lion , Black Horse , Wheatsheaf and the Travelling Man are all ready to temp you with wonderful food and drink. All within a few minutes stroll of each other.
